Debranding

Previously known as Re:Form this is a growing chargeable commercial service where we apply our expertise in debranding and deconstructing materials that have logos, Intellectual Property and copyright sensitivities. The service can include door to door secure transit collection or bookable goods in slots whereby you arrange getting them to us.

what is debranding

The REMO team de-brand, de-identify, deconstruct and re-manufacture commercial work wear, products and other visually sensitive materials into resources for community benefit. Rooted in the Circular Economy principal of retaining the highest material value, our team have developed a range of techniques that mean we permanently and irrecoverably remove all branding and visual identifiers. We do this by deconstructing and then re-manufacturing or re-constructing in such a way that your IP is protected and something new and useful is created for the communities we serve.

We can also recreate items for your own promotional requirements. These footballs which were created for Veolia from their own work wear, were prizes for a community football event they sponsored.

Social and Environmental Impact

The added value of working directly with REMO is that we are able to achieve great environmental impact, on average achieving 98% usage of materials. Coupled with our people powered, practical approach to disrupting the old “take, make, dispose” and replacing it with a sustainable, circular waste revolution. This also creates social impact through community based opportunities for skills development, reduction of isolation and loneliness, and the co-creation of new products that don’t cost the earth.

Award Winning and
Waste Regulations

Previously known as, The Re:Form project, we won the Rushlight Resource Innovation Award for being a ground-breaking initiative. Our tenacious, dedicated people passionately believe that the reuse of resources works best when it goes hand in hand with providing opportunities for people to learn new skills in a supportive and friendly environment. REMO is also registered with The Environment Agency and has the necessary permits and licences to provide the fulfilment of your legal Duty of Care and accordingly provide you with appropriate documentation for your records and peace of mind.

Over 98% of the uniform we receive is reused or remanufactured, which in turn has resulted in it being diverted from landfill and avoided the use of raw materials for new garments.

We provide two main services;

  1. Secure debranding or over-branding for reuse – £1 for a small logo, £3 for a large logo
  2. Cleaning and preparation for reuse – £1 per kilo (minimum of £100 per consignment)

Used items that are not laundered/cleaned will incur both fees.

Minimum consignment value £200. Prices Exclude Transportation and VAT.

We are registered with the Environment Agency number: WEX349204.

Registered activities include the recovery of textiles (T2) and the manual treatment of waste (T12).

Please note that CCORRN’s fees are offset against the revenue generated from the sale of the reworked items at low cost to our members, however if you would like the items returned or donated to a community group or charity then an additional fee will be payable.

To avoid degradation of the textiles, please ensure they remain dry prior to and during shipment.

Transportation is not included in these fees as it is usually more cost effective for the holder of the workwear to arrange and pay directly for the consignment to be dispatched via courier/pallet.
