Creativity and sustainable community spaces go hand in hand at REMO and our latest Pottery and Prosecco evening proved just how much appetite there is for relaxed, hands-on crafting within Fenland.
The REMO Eco Hub was buzzing with giggles, conversation and incredible artistic talent as guests gathered for an evening of clay sculpting, guided techniques and a complimentary glass of fizz or two… or three.
A Destination for Crafters Near and Far
From detailed botanical leaf impressions to handcrafted trinket dishes, the creativity on display was inspiring. But the biggest surprise of the night came when we discovered one of our guests had driven 6 whole hours just to join us at the March Eco Hub!
Seeing people travel across the country to experience REMO’s community atmosphere is a fantastic testament to what our team and volunteers are building here in Fenland.
Creating Space for Wellbeing and Skills
Events like Pottery and Prosecco are an integral part of REMO’s wider mission. Beyond offering a fun night out, these workshops foster local wellbeing, reduce isolation and encourage creative reuse, aligning with our broader Makerspace Expansion initiative to make tools, materials and creative guidance accessible to everyone.
